Emaar Boulevard | Dubai, UAE
Dubai has become synonymous in recent years with lavish opportunities for shopping. With that said, it can’t be a huge surprise that the world’s largest shopping centre Dubai Mall is here complete with more than 1,000 stores and 160 food and beverage sellers. Even if shopping just really isn’t your thing there are enough spectacles in the mall to make a trip here well worth your time. A few of the amenities include ice rinks, movie theaters, and the Dubai fountains which are a 900 foot long matrix of lights and water sprouts that shoot water out and form wonderful water/light shows. Perhaps the malls biggest draw however is the Dubai Aquarium which houses more than 33,000 sea creatures inside one of the world’s largest tanks. There will be much to see and experience during your wander through Dubai’s never ending mall.

Standing more than a 160 stories and 2,716 feet the Burj Khalifa is easily the world’s tallest building. The world’s largest monikers don’t stop there as it is also the world’s tallest free standing structure and has the highest outdoor observation deck in the world. Sitting at the 124th floor the views from the observation deck are stunning and awe inspiring as visitors peer over the Persian canal or over the entire city. The observation deck is a little pricey at around $27 US dollars, but there will not other opportunities to look out over the world from this height while not on a mountain or in air plane. The observation deck is open from 10 am to 10 pm from Sunday to Wednesday and 10 am till Midnight Thursday through Saturday.
